Tim Nihart
Tim (Coach) Nihart arrived at North Greenville University in 1998 where he found his home in the Mass Communications Department teaching public speaking courses. He received his B.A. in Mass Communications as well as his M.A. in Corporate Communications from Lindenwood University in Missouri. After spending time playing baseball for the Minnesota Twins Organization, he returned to Lindenwood University where he served as Assistant Dean of Students, directing both student housing and student activities. While in St. Louis, Coach Nihart also worked as an air talent for KCLC 89.1 FM.

Aside from his work in the communications field, Coach Nihart spent ten seasons as Head Baseball Coach at North Greenville University. He recently retired from coaching in May of 2008. Although retired from coaching, he remains heavily involved with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), as well as continuing to use baseball as a platform for ministry by hosting camps and clinics.

Coach Nihart's ministerial career doesn't stop on the baseball field. He has been the camp director at Camp Marietta in Marietta, SC since the summer of 2005. He is responsible for organizing the summer camps, retreats, and conferences held there throughout the year.  He also spends time sharing the Word of God as a public speaker.

Coach Nihart has been married to his wife, Crystal, a third grade teacher at Blue Ridge Christian Academy, for 12 years (1998). The two of them host Wednesday evening Bible studies for students in the surrounding Greenville area.
